According to tradition, a marshal of artillery to French king Henry IV, François Hannibal d’Estrées, presented the Carthusian monks at Vauvert, near Paris, with an alchemical manuscript that contained a recipe for an “elixir of long life” in 1605.[4] The recipe eventually reached the religious order’s headquarters at the Grande Chartreuse monastery, in Voiron, near Grenoble. I eat at least 1 Avocado per day.  Soups are a great way to enjoy them  especially with added Cilantro,  Serrano peppers and a squeeze of lemon!

Dress your sprouted Lentils with Cucumbers,  Green Onions,  Cilantro, Micro-Greens, Lemon, Salt and Spices!

Lunch for my sister!  Chopped organic apples and strawberries.  Plain organic yogurt sweetened with raw honey topped with mint and crushed almonds!  Delicious!

Improvisational “empty fridge” lunch!  It’s always nice to make too much brown rice for when everything else in your fridge is gone!   Luckily I had a little bit of green onions,  half of an avocado,  nori snax,  spicy sesame oil and lemon!  Mix and eat!

Total surprise improv at a friend’s house with nothing for a Vegan in her fridge but the Quinoa I brought and some veggies for a macaroni salad she was making!  I threw together some celery and cilantro and tossed it into my Quinoa and dressed it with lime, olive oil and salt!  Delicious and fresh!

I may be able to kick my coffee addiction after all!  This delicious drink is incredibly flavorful, rich and made from roasted Barley and Rhye!  I discovered it at Whole Foods the other day and now I won’t be tossing and turning when I get the urge to have a cup of coffee at night!  I’ll just have a cup of INKA and I’ll be O.K.!!
